Hi! My name is Fisayo Odukoya and I strongly believe that the government have failed at the rebuilding of the damage after Katrina for the following reasons.

Assertion: The government did not save all of the people that lost their homes and are now on the streets.

Reasoning: There are still many homes and other structures that need to be rebuilt for the population of New Orleans to increase to what is was before.

Evidence: Many of the dams that have been rebuilt have failed and have collapsed again.

Once again I am Fisayo Odukoya and for these reasons, the proposition side has won this debate.

Thank You!

Hi! My name is Fisayo Odukoya and I strongly believe that the government has not failed at rebuilding the damage from Katrina for the following reasons.

Assertion: The government has spent a lot of money to rebuild structures and provide home for the people who lost theirs.

Reasoning:HUD has been working hard to rebuild homes for the people who have lost theirs.

Evidence: About 16.7 million dollars have been dedicated to the people who have lost their homes so that their homes can be rebuilt.

Assertion: Much of the gulf coasts infrastructure has been improved.

Reasoning: In April of 2006, over 4,000,000,000 people from the United States have donated money to contribute to the rebuilding.

Evidence: Many schools, roads, bridges, hospitals etc. have been rebuilt since 2005.

Once again, my name is Fisayo Odukoya and for these reasons the opposition side has won this debate. Thank You!

Hi! I am Fisayo Odukoya and I strongly believe that Europe should not be allowed to accept refugees from Africa for this reason.

Assertion: Europe will become overcrowded.

Reasoning: In some areas of Europe where the refugees are going, there is not a lot of land to hold that many people.

Evidence: Many refugees are settling in Hungary. Hungary is a small country that will not be able to carry such a large population. This can cause government systems to deteriorate because they cannot control such a large amount of people.

Hi! My name is Fisayo Odukoya and I strongly believe that refugees should be allowed into Europe for these reasons.

Assertion: There are about 3 million refugees.

Reasoning: The reason why these people are trying to leave Africa is so that they can have a better life.

Evidence: In Syria, there is not a lot of food or fresh water for many people. In Europe there are resources that these people do not have where they live. Europe is the closest area that has the resources that they need so they might as well move there.

Hi! My name is Fisayo Odukoya and I strongly believe that cigarettes should be made illegal.

Here are my points.

Assertion: If cigarettes are illegal then the selling of cigarettes in the black market will increase.

Reasoning: Drugs are illegal but people still take them anyway. They just don't care.

Evidence: In the past year about 30 to 40 million people have taken drugs.

Assertion: Tobacco farmers will lose their jobs.

Reasoning: Many people grow tobacco for a living. If cigarettes are made illegal, they will be out of business.

Evidence: In the US, about 342,932 acres used for tobacco. If cigarettes are made illegal, what will happen to all of that farm land. It cannot be used to grow anything else once tobacco has been grown there.

Once again, I am Fisayo Odukoya and for these reasons the opposition side has won this debate.
